SOSA Auciton Kick-Off Party!

SOSA is sponsoring Happy Hour at the Dive on November 7th, to kick-off the 2009 Silent Service Charities Auction festivities.  Come enjoy food, drink, and socializing! 

At this kick-off event for the Silent Service Charities Auction, packets providing all information to support the auction, including event details, the reservation form, and verbal and silent auction donation sheets will be available for pick up by CO and CMC/COB of each command..  If not able to attend, please send a representative to pick up your packet.

NEXT Planning Meeting, November 18th!

The next meeting for the 2009 Auction will take place on Tuesday November 18th, 2009 at 7pm at SOS. This year’s auction is sure to be a “Red Carpet Event”! If you have volunteered to chair a committee or to help out with the auction we hope that you are able to make it to the meeting. Each meeting will run about an hour and a half and will be very productive we will also have fun! Starting with a fun ice breaker and each meeting will have a theme that ties into “Classic Hollywood”. Volunteering for the auction is a great way to meet new friends and catch up with old friends as well! So spread the word. We look forward to seeing you there! A Note About the Silent Auction

With the auction coming up, we need your bags!  Please save any bag that has a handle on it (i.e. Macy’s, Bath & Body Works, Victoria Secret.)  You can either drop them off at the Dolphin Store, call me and I will come get them or bring them to a SOSA meeting.  I am also looking to borrow several large Rubbermaid storage containers.  They will be returned in March.
